The 3rd-6th grade STEM class did a research study of the rice cycle. They learned the importance of rice, especially for Asian countries. After days of research, they presented their project to the classes.
William Truax graciously gave of his time to come into our 1st & 2nd grade STEM class and talk about his vast knowledge of trees. He gave information on safe trees and not so safe trees. The students really enjoyed his presentation. Thank you, William!
Students are studying about magnets. We spent a day exploring different magnets. The first and second graders made a magnet maze. While the 3rd through 6th graders created a simple compass.
