This is a primary school STEM course designed to educate students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world. A lesson or unit in a STEM class is typically based around finding a solution to a real-world problem and emphasizes project-based learning.
Our Vex Robotic team came in to show us their robot and what it could do. They had gone to state this year, which is very exciting for our school. We will be making robots in class next year.
Students were asked to create a Pokemon figure or a character of their choice. They were very creative and had so much fun doing this.
Students were asked to create their own card. The card was to be one that maybe they could actually use in their own personal Pokemon deck. They loved doing this! Very creative students, for sure.
